Job Description:






Job Title:  Service/Parts Cashier/Receptionist
Department:  Service
Reports To:  Service Director
Summary:
Process repair orders, answer incoming calls,  call customers with completed work orders,
collect customer payments, file resulting paperwork.  Parts runner, assist with tech time cards
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following, other duties may be assigned:
Perform all jobs with a high degree of integrity, professionalism and taking ownership of your work.
Greet all customers walking through the door
Review, process and close service repair orders Complete part transactions
Learn and utilize the FCI Dealer Vu computer program for daily work.
Answer incoming calls to the service/parts department and direct them to the responsible employee.
Collect customer payments and apply to work orders.
Close the daily till for the service & parts department.
File repair orders and related documents closed by the service department.
Extend courtesy to all Customers and fellow employees at all times.
Strive to enhance inter-department relationships.
Participate in fellow employee training (mentor program).
Adhere to Company Policy and procedures, including wearing
company uniform and maintaining a professional appearance.
Cycle count on inventory to be performed as needed.  
Supervisory Responsibilities
May Mentor another employee.

Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or GED; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.  Basic cashiering experience, telephone answering and
customer service experience dealing with the public face to face, basic computer and accounting skills, 10 key by touch, filing, good writing skills, and basic spreadsheet and word processing skills.  Microsoft Outlook and Windows software experience desirable. 
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-to-one and
small group situations.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.  Basic accounting experience required.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations and time sensitive deadlines.  Ability to work independently without supervision.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
None required, accounting and Microsoft Office or equivalent certification desirable.
